Getting to the Bodleian

Please book your taxi well in advance if you're not within walking distance. Friday lunch time is a busy time for taxis. Taxi numbers/ app details to pre-book are on the 'Other Info' page.

If you arrive early there are 2 pubs just across from the building: Kings Arms, Holywell Street; White Horse, Broad Street.

The ceremony is in Convocation House, the entrance is through Chancellors Court. Map below.

Please be seated by 12:45pm, The ceremony will start at 1pm with a drinks reception and photographs afterwards. We will be leaving Convocation House just before 2:30pm to head to the Cherwell Boathouse.

Confetti

Confetti is not permitted in the grounds of the Bodleian Library but there will be a confetti photograph after we leave the venue. We will provide confetti.

Toilets

Toilets are located in the Western Library which is a different building. You will need to cross Broad Street and go in through the glass doors. The toilets are to the left once inside: Map below

Getting to the Cherwell Boathouse

We're providing bus transport from the Bodleian to the Cherwell Boathouse. Please make your way to the bus after the confetti photograph.

If you're driving between venues please let me know before the day so we ensure we have the right number of people on the bus. Parking information for both venues can be found on the 'Other Info' page.
